SIGMA CLUB HOLDS INTERVIEW, ADMITS NEW MEMBERS.
In a bid to further sustain the enviable legacy and unprecedented heritage of the oldest and longest surviving students’ organisation in sub-Saharan Africa, Sigma Club, University of Ibadan held her annual admission interview on Saturday, 2nd June, 2018 at the Sultan Bello Hall Senior Common Room, University of Ibadan, Ibadan.
In attendance were members of the prestigious socio-philanthropic organisation – Loyal Sigmites and Old Sigmites; who scrupulously and effortlessly left no stone unturned to critically and vehemently scrutinize and examine the applicants seeking to earn esteemed membership of the club.
According to the club’s Publicity Committee Chairman, Loyalist Ola-Williams Olaoluwa, the club received a great pool of applications this year, and ensured that only those who fit the archetype the club needs were picked.
The Sigma Chief, Valentine Igbonekwu, also revealed that out of the over one hundred applicants (100) shortlisted, only thirty-five (35) gentlemen could get admitted into the highly revered Sigma Roll of Honour. While he showed profound gratitude for the successful exercise, he also expressed great deal of optimism about the newly admitted gentlemen. In his words, the club is as usual, once again, set on its mission to transform mere men into extraordinary whole men.
